Your Facilitators:
Mimi Lê
Driven by an empathic and sensitive nature, Mimi’s approach to healing is both embodied and heartfelt. Her journey began early, cultivating a profound self-awareness and a curious, inquiring spirit. Raised in a devotional Buddhist household with Vietnamese roots, Mimi was surrounded by traditional herbal and healing remedies and a reverence for ancestors and the sacred.
In 2018, while completing her advanced 300-hour yoga training, she felt a natural pull towards the sister science of Ayurveda, leading her to Holistic Health and Ayurveda training with Vaidya (Dr.) Naina Marballi, followed by specialized training in Yoga Therapy with Yoga Bharati. Mimi honors all the teachers and traditions that helped her reconnect with her own inner wisdom. Through her classes and workshops, she offers a welcoming space for you to connect with your own intuitive healing capacity.
Michael Carpenter
Michael's relationship with the inner sciences and disciplines began at age seven, when they took up meditation and martial arts - practices that profoundly shaped the trajectory of his life. By 2016, that early devotion had deepened into ashram life and he was introduced to Ayurveda, a path he was called to by necessity: the body asking for answers Western medicine could not provide. In 2018, the study of Jyotish began, offering another way of seeing what Ayurveda was already teaching him to feel.
For Michael, Jyotish and Ayurveda are instruments of intuition and historically sister sciences - ways of reading what the body is asking for and how to navigate the rhythms and seasons of a life. As a personal chef and ashram cook for groups of up to 150, they have expanded what people believed possible with simple, intentional food, and supported many through the tender work of releasing harmful patterns and evolving their lifestyles.
An artist and a self-taught yogi, Michael teaches from the marrow of their experience - weaving Ayurveda, yoga, Jyotish, and the kitchen into one continuous practice of harmonious living.
